Men's Basketball Lock up the Top WPCC Conference

Wednesday night the men's basketball team hosted WPCC conference foe Butler Community College.  With a win Westmoreland would lock up the top seed, and home court advantage throughout,  this weekends tournament.  The Wolfpack took a 44 to 42 lead into the half, and came out strong in the second half opening up a lead and not looking back, winning with a final score of 92 to 81.  

Jakir Hampton and Tahiyr Vines both were the high scorers for the Wolfpack with 23 points easch.  Joel Lonigro and Brandon Baird both added in 16 points each.  Baird pulled in 11 boards as well for his team high sixth double-double of the season.  Noah Raynor-Savage added in 9 points with 10 assists, while Jason Pierre added in 5 points off the bench for the Wolfpack.

Next up for the Wolfpack is the WPCC Tournament, where they will enjoy home court advantage throughout.  First up for the Wolfpack is CCAC at home Friday night at 7 pm in the first round.  Come out and help support the team as they look to bring home the WPCC Conference Tournament Championship.
