Wolfpack Women Take Top Four Places
Friday afternoon saw the Westmoreland Country Community College Bowling teams play host to WPCC Conference opponents in CCAC and Penn Highlands at Main Bowl in Greensburg.
The Wolfpack women's team took the top four spots in the match with Taylor Sathornkich placing first, Grace Fischer placing second, Lane Fischer finishing third, and Faith Shean in fourth place. Hannah Crosby was not far behind in sixth place for the Pack. Sathornkich, Kiski Area, finished with a team season high series and games. Taylor threw a 206 ssecond game as a part of her 547 series on the day. Grace Fischer had a 198 third game in route to her 481 series. Lane Fischer ended the day with a 463 series, and Shean and Crosby finished with a 400 and 361 series each.
On the men's side, Sean Gordon led the way for the Pack with a 549 series, which included a 204 second game. This was good enough to finish Gordon in sixth place overall. Ethan Sisk's eighth place finish finish included a 199 second game, as part of his 481 series. Freshman Camden Wright rolled a 131 in the first and third games as he finished the day with a 363 series in ninth place.
The Wolfack return to Main Bowl again on Tuesday February 6th, as they will host another WPCC matchup with Penn Highlands and CCAC at 1pm.
