Golf With a Final Tuneup Before Conference Championships
Monday morning, on a very wet and cold day, Westmoreland played host to Butler County Community College at GlenGarry Golf Course for their final fall regular season matchup.
Three members of the Wolfpack were under 80 for their rounds. Bret Worthington was the best score on the day with a 73. Freshman Aiden Duffy was next with a 76, while sophomore Casron McCully shot a 78. Ben Wofford played a solid round and finished with a 83. Bryan Materkowski and Cooper Gray tied on the day with a 84 each to round out the scoring. This is the first time Westmoreland had six golfers finish under 85.
No members of the women's team took part in the event this week.
The Wolfpack now turn their attention to Thursday and Friday morning as they get ready to play for the WPCC Conference Championship at The Links at Spring Church starting at 10am each day.
