WOLFPACK MEN COMPETE AT UPJ INVITATIONAL

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Westmoreland County Community College men's cross country team competed at the Pitt-Johnstown Invitational Oct. 5. It was sunny day, but was the first really cold day of the season.

On the men's side, sophomore Dan Miller ran a strong race and was the top JUCO finisher, placing 8th overall in a time of 24:28 over the 6.5k course. Sophomore Scott Meck was second for the Pack, placing 18th. Next was freshman Nathan Miller, who was competing in his first college race and placed 24th, and freshman Michael Hays placing 30th.

The Wolfpack will be back in action this coming Saturday as they will be attending the Penn State Fayette Invitational.
