WOLFPACK MEN SET SEASON-BESTS AT PSU-FAYETTE INVITATIONAL

LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. - Saturday was a very successful day at the Penn State Fayette Invitational this past Saturday for the Westmoreland County Community College men's cross country team, as every runner set season and collegiate bests on the 8k course in a constant rain.

For the Wolfpack, four men competed in the race. Sophomore Dan Miller ran a season best time in the 8k at 30:32, while Scott Meck crossed the finish line at 23:35, which is a personal best. Rounding out the group were freshmen Nathan Miller and Michael Hays, who both competed in their first 8k, finishing at 41:36 and 42:00, respectively.

Westmoreland is back in action this Thursday at home competing in the 2019 WPCC Championships. The women's race will start at 4 and the men will follow at 4:40.
