Team Effort Carries Lady Wolfpack to Win Against CCBC

The Westmoreland women's basketball team beat the Community College of Beaver County on Monday by a score of 51-46. It was a total team effort as every player for the Lady Wolfpack contributed with a big play throughout the game. Head coach James Brymn said "every player deserves a game ball tonight because everyone of them came up with a big play during the game at some point". Mercedes Majors had a double double with 22 points and 11 rebounds and ran the offense from the point guard position with efficacy. Chloe Willochell came up with some huge defensive steals while scoring 10 points to go along with 6 steals and 6 rebounds. Angel Kelly knocked down a few key 3 pointers and had 11 points and 9 rebounds. Ruby Rojas was ferocious on the boards having a team high 13 rebounds and a big steal towards the end of the game. Alexis Stanek made a huge bucket late in the game to put Westmoreland up 5 points and make it a two possession game to go a long with 7 points and 10 rebounds. The Lady Wolfpack's next game will be at Butler County Community College on Saturday with tip off scheduled for 1pm.
