
Brush to Take Over the Women's Basketball Program
Westmoreland County Community College is excited to announce the hiring of Tom Brush as the new Head Women’s Basketball Coach. Tom comes to Westmoreland with a wealth of basketball experience at all different levels. Most recently he was the head girl’s basketball coach at Hempfield Area. He has also spent time coaching girls’ basketball at Franklin Regional and East Allegheny high schools, and was a boy’s varsity assistant coach at trinity Christian. He is also the owner and coach of Pride Hoops, an AAU basketball organization for girls in grade 5 through high school. “Tom brings in a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help our student athletes on and off the court,” said Director of Athletics Patrick Comer. “Coach Brush will jump right in to recruiting women for this falls team, and we look forward to seeing him being successful at the college level,” added Comer.
