Golf Places First at Home Match

Friday afternoon Westmoreland County Community Colleges' golf teams finally got a warm dry day to play some golf!!  Their first matchup was rained out, followed by two straight cold, and rainy matches.  They played host to Penn Highlands and CCAC at Glengarry Golf Course in their final home match of the spring season.

Carson McCully was the low score for Westmoreland with a 75 on the day.  While Conner Iarussi placed second overall with a 79.  Rylan Keslar was third for the Wolfpack, and fourth overall, with a 83.  Sullivan Smith rounded out the top four for Westmoreland with a 94.  Bryan Materkowski and Chris Saverski shot rounds of 97 and 99 for the match.  This was the first time this season all six men's team members were under 100 for the round.  Westmoreland finished with a team score of 331, CCAC was second with a 362.

Kylie Kadas was the top women's finisher with a 102 round.  She defeated CCAC's top women's golfer by 12 strokes.  

Next up for the Wolfpack will be a trip to North Park Golf Course for a match hosted by CCAC.
