Golf Swings Away at North Park

Friday afternoon the Westmoreland County Community College Golf teams travelled to North Park to take on Butler and CCAC in one of the final Region 20 reglar season matchups.

Sophomore Kylie Kadas continues to get ready for the post season as she shot a round under 100 again with a 97 on the day.  Kadas defeated he closest opponent from CCAC by 33 strokes.

on the men's side, freshman Conner Iaurussi was the low round for the men's team, placing second overall, with another impressive round of 75.  Carson McCully and Rylan Keslar placed tied for fourth place when they both shot an 81. Bryan Materkowski continues to come on strong as he shot a 85 for his round.  Sullivan Smith and Chris Saversky continue to drop their scores each week when they shot 91 and 92.  Westmoreland finished in first as a team with a combined score of 328, Butler was in second with a 333, and CCAC placed third with a 370 total team score.

The Wolfpack will have one more tune-up match this Friday at Butler, before the NJCAA Region 20 Championships at the Links at Spring Church on May 13th and 14th.
