Wolfpack win 3-0 vs Garrett

Monday evening saw the Westmoreland County Community College volleyball team play host to an NJCAA Region 20 opponent in Garrett College.  Westmoreland won the match 3-0, winning sets with scores of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-17.

Emily Shuck led the way for the Wolfpack with 8 kills in the match.  Bryn Shearer and Sarah Fulton combined for 13 digs, Shearer with 7 and Fulton with 6.  Skyler Durst had 4 aces and 12 assists over the three sets.  Grace Fischer and Shearer both had 1 block a piece as well.

The Wolfpack also learned that Freshman Skyler Durst is currently leading the NJCAA Division II with 2.43 Service Aces per game, and sophomore Sarah Fulton is 5th in digs per set with 6.57.

The Wolfpack, now 3-4 on the season, will next host a tri-match on Friday evening hosting Anna Arundel Community College and Howard Community College.  Westmoreland will lead things off vs Anne Arundel at 4:30pm.  Anne Arundel will then take on Howard in game two around 6pm.  Then around 8pm, Westmoreland will take on Howard to close out the night.
