Twenty-four Athletes Receive Spring WPCC Academic Honors

Youngwood, PA - The Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference has announced that 24 Westmoreland County Community College student athletes were named to the 2016 WPCC All-Academic Team for their accomplishments in the classroom during the spring term. The following student athletes were recognized with highest honors with a GPA ranging from 4.00 to 3.50 were Rafael Amanau, Anthony Faulk, Shelby Kimmick, Alexa DeFrank, Breanna Merritt, Nick Alwine, Natasha Scaife, Vinnie Shoff and Hannah Porter.  

Honor recipients with a GPA range of 3.49 to 3.00 were Andrew Shultz, Norman Ellis, Jessica Raschiatore, Patrick Repko, Natalie Herman, Lindsay Herron, Brittany Crawford, Wendi Walsh, Mitch Anzovino, Dakota Sachs, Abbey Medved, Jared Henry, Brooke Kalp, Andrew Heinack and Hannah Guldin. For the 2015-16 academic year, Westmoreland named a total of 43 students to the WPCC All-Academic Teams
