Thirty Earn Fall WPCC Academic Awards

Youngwood, PA - The Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference announced its fall WPCC Academic Awards as 30 Westmoreland County Community College student athletes were awarded academic honors. Athletes competed in cross country, soccer, golf and basketball and maintained a 3.00 or higher while balancing their academics and athletics for the 2016 fall semester. Athletic Director Dick Holler stated, "It's great for these student athletes to be recognized for their achievement in the classroom. We're proud of their accomplishment as they go hand in hand as a student athlete".
