Baseball sweeps Finger Lakes Community College
WCCC opened their home schedule with an impressive weekend sweep over Finger Lakes CC 8-7 and 2-1. In game one, all 9 starters recorded a hit while Sean Bradley, Tyler Geary and Steven Bender all added two hits apiece. Bradley and Bender had the lone extra base hits for the Wolfpack who went extra frames to secure the win. Brandon Rowland pick up the win in relief of starting pitcher Matt Shoemaker. Matt Hogue had a solid pitching performance in the night cap, as he stifled FLCC hitters in allowing just 5 hits over 7 innings. Jay Miller's key two out RBI double put WCCCC ahead 2-1 which it would not surrender. Hogue earned the mound win as the Wolfpack improved to 4-2 on the young season.
