Three Wins for Basebeall Over the Weekend

Timely hitting and pitching help secure the baseball team to win three of four key Region XX games over the weekend, as they swept Butler County Community College on Saturday 6-2 and 9-8.  TJ Lux pitched a gem in the opening game against Butler as he allowed five hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out three. Trevor Nelson picked up his first college win in the nightcap, as he went two innings in the 9-8 come from behind win over Butler. On Sunday, the Wolfpack hit the road and earned a split with CCAC Boyce on Sunday as they dropped game one 4-0 then bounced back for 13-2 win improving to 5-17 on the season. 

Batter's Box: Branson Auckerman, TJ Lux, Noah Hansen, Garrett Stevenson and Phoenix Brown all continue to swing hot bats as they all pounded out six hits apiece over the weekend to pace the Wolfpack. Dylan Procopio, Zack Blystone and Nathan Kiebler all managed multiple hits for the Wolfpack
