Offense Carries Wolfpack to Win

Westmoreland County Community College defeated Butler County Community College 21-1 on Sunday thanks in part to Kam Pritts, who drove in five runners.  Pritts drove in runs on a triple in the third and a triple in the fourth.
 
Westmoreland got things started in the first inning when Logan Short singled in a run.
 
Westmoreland notched ten runs in the fourth inning.  The offensive firepower by Westmoreland was led by Tanner Colflesh, Tyler Husband, Alex Borges, Pritts, Jose Rosario, and  Ronnie Howard, who all drove in runs.
 
Travis Keister was the winning pitcher for the Wolfpack. The lefty allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out nine and walking one.
 
Westmoreland saw the ball well today, racking up 19 hits in the game.  Pritts, Husband, Borges, Colflesh, Jake Piktel, Short, Dom Koch, and Howard all collected multiple hits for Westmoreland.  Husband and Pritts each managed three hits to lead the pack.  Westmoreland didn't commit a single error in the field. Short had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
 
This win was Coach Michael Draghi's 749th career win here at Westmoreland.  He looks to earn number 750 this Tuessday as the team travel to CCAC for a 4pm single game.  The Wolfpack will also play Thursday at St Vincent against thier JV team.  Friday the Wolfpack will play in the first round of the WPCC Conference Tournament at Pullman Park against Butler, whith the winner advancing to Saturday to play CCAC at No Off Season  at 2pm.
