Golf Wins State Invitational

Tyler Robbins carded a tournament best of 143 which earned him the medalist honors at the two-day Pennsylvania State Invitational Golf Championships at Penn National Golf Club. Robbins led from the start, as he was 18 strokes better than the runner-up from BCCC. Jimmy Sarver posted a 169 which was good for 5th place, while Jeremy Hauser carded a 172 as that placed him 5th. Mike Halula's two-day total of 189 left him in the 14th spot.

The team of Robbins, Sarver, Hauser, and Halula went on to capture the 2013 PA Invitational title along with earning the WPCC runner-up trophy just a few weeks earlier at their conference event. With their successes this fall, the team has their sights on the spring season and earning a spot at the NJCAA Division III National Tournament in Chautauqua, New York.
