Men's Basketball Sweeps Tip-Off Classic

Youngwood, Pa - Time is of essence, the men's basketball team took their only lead of the game against Anne Arundel Community College with seven seconds remaining as they held off a last second Riverhawk's shot to secure a 94-93 win in Region XX play during the Westmoreland Tip Off Classic. Ja'Kory Freeman provided the spark the Wolfpack needed as he knocked down 35 points in the win, while Joaunn Rivers assisted with 20 points. Kaleb Winchester chipped in 15 points as Kyle Carrington added 14 points for the Pack. Westmoreland also defeated Leigh Carbon Community College 83-57 as the entire roster contributed in helping them improve to (3-0) on the young season. Freeman and Rivers were named to the All-tournament team for their stellar play.
