Fetter Scores 28 Against Lorain

In the final game before the Holiday Break, Westmoreland traveled to Lorain Community College to close out the home and home series for the season.  Westmoreland held the lead at 39-37, before a quick 10-0 run gave Lorain the half time lead at 47-39.  The in the second half, after and injury to Marquell Reaves, Lorain went on an 11-0 run to bust the game open, winning 98-76.  This marked the Wolfpacks' first time scoring over 70 points, as the team continues to show improvements in each game.  

Playing with a short bench, with Injuries to Reaves, Jordan Askew, and Brailyn Ryan, other members of the Wolfpack stepped forward to help lead the team.  Freshman guard Brandon Fetter took the lead for the Wolfpack in the scoring department, scoring a team season, and career high 28 points.  Fetter shot 8-14 from three point land. Freshman Tyler Travillion, Aidan McCormick, and Reaves all added in 10 points a piece.  Lamont Rogers (7 pts), Cullen Rahuba (6 pts), and Elijah Myers (5 pts) each got on the stats sheet as well.  McCormick also pulled down a career high 14 rebounds, which along with his 10 points gave him his first career double-double.  The Wolfpack have now had someone record a double-double in their last 4 games.  Aidan also led the team in assists with 5.  Rahuba had 2 steals and Lamont Rogers had a block to lead the Pack.

At the Holiday Break the Wolfpack sit at 0-12, but have shown tremendous growth since the start of the season.  As they continue to work together, they will continue to improve as a team.  The Wolfpack will be off now until January 12th, as they travel to Pittsburgh to play the Carlow Jv team at 7:30pm.
