Bowling Ends Season With Regional Invitational

The men's and women's bowling teams wrapped up their season with multiple event wins at the bowling region tournament held at Main Bowl in Greensburg.

The men's team started out with the top two places in the doubles event with Ian Sunny and Luke Savage taking the top spot with a three game score of 1293.  Finishing in second place was the team of Chaz Lankey and Ben Coleman with a three game score of 1188.  Logan Gustafson and Peyton Henry took home fourth place with a score of 758.  

In the men's singles event the men's team took the top four spots with Chaz Lankey's 659 series being the top score.  Ian Sunny placed second with a 653 series, Savage in third with 598, and Coleman placing fourth with a 594.  Rounding out the men's singles was Henry in sixth, and Gustafson in ninth place.

The Women's team also took the top two spots in the doubles event as well.  With Chryseis Smith and Ashleigh Walker taking the top spot with a 1046 three game series.  They were followed by runners-up Hannah DeStefano and Alexi Rosendale with a 936 series.

In the singles event Walker finished as the runner-up, to Penn Highlands Jennifer Everett's 498, with a three game series of 484.  Smith was the third place finisher with a 465 series, and Rosendale and DeStefano placed fifth and sixth places in the event.

When it came to total score for all events, Ian Sunny and Ashleigh Walker took the top spots for each gender for the tournament. Sunny scoring an impressive 1949 total pins, with a 216 average. While Walker had a 1635 total score with a 181 average. 

The 2021-22 season was impressive for both teams this year, with the teams posting multiple wins at every event this season.  Congratulations to all the team members, and we look forward to them all returning next season to continue the great work they did this season!
