Men's and Women's Bowling Ready for Nationals

The men's and women's Wolfpack bowling team took to the lanes for the last time before the NJCAA National Champions, when they took part in the NJCAA Region 20 Championships this past Friday at Coral Lanes.

The current Region 20 Women's Bowler of the Month Ashleigh Walker was part of the top women's doubles teams with Alexei Rosendale.  The two combined for a 970 series.  Hannah DeStefano and Chryseis Smith Placed third in the doubles event.  The ladies then went on to finish with 5 of the top 6 bowlers in the individual event.  Walker placed first with a 608 series, then third through sixth was Lane Fischer 474, DeStefano 445, Smith 387, and Rosendale 366.

On the men's side it came down to six games of Bakers for the Wolfpack to defeat CCAC in the team competition.  In doubles Ben Coleman and Ian Sonny placed second, and Chaz Lankey and Brayden Patton placed third.  When all was said and done, the men's team walked away with the NJCAA Region 20 team title!

Next up for the bowling teams will be a trip to Buffalo New York to compete in the NJCAA National Championships Friday March 2nd and Saturday March 3rd.  This will be the bowling teams first trip back to the National Championship since the 2020 season!  Good Luck Wolfpack!!
