Richardson Heads to National Championships

Chase Richardson had the opportunity to travel to Chautauqua Golf Course, in Chautauqua, NY for the NJCAA Division III National Championships. 

In the four-day event, Richardson ended up placing 19^th overall, one spot out of All-American honors.  Chase had four outstanding rounds against the best golfers in Division III.  Chase's rounds of 75, 77, 80, and 78, for a total score of 310 was one of the best rounds by a Westmoreland golfer in history.  His final round on Friday also saw him chip in for eagle on the par 5 fourth hole.

"Chase had an amazing spring season," said coach Jeff Black.  "He was so consistent the whole season long, and in the end, he was right there with the best golfers from across the country."
