Golf Teams Tee Off Their Seasons

The Westmoreland County Community College Golf teams hosted Penn Highlands, Butler Community College, and CCAC on Friday September 1st at Glengarry Golf Course.

The Men's golf team had an impressive start to their season on Friday at Glengarry Golf Links against CCAC, Butler County Community College, and Penn Highlands. Connor Iarussi and Carson McCully lead the Men's team with scores of 76 and 78. Rylan Keslar and Matt Drahas also had impressive showings with scores of 88 and 87. The Men's team collectively shot 329 which was good for a second place finish behind Butler County Community College who shot a 309. A solid showing for the first match of the season. 

On the women's side, Kylie Kudas was victorious with a score of 100. Kudas finished 24 points ahead of her competitor. A solid showing to start the season and a continuation of last season's nationals run success. 

Next up the Men's and Women's teams will travel for a match against CCAC on Friday September 8th at 11:00 AM.
