This past Wednesday the Westmoreland County Community College Soccer team took to the road to take on Penn State New Kensington. The Wolfpack showed great steps forward from their first game of the season, just a week before.
Westmoreland had shots on goal by sophomore Clay Berkebile and freshman Hunter Meade. Goal keeper Jonathan Heveker faced 20 shots, stopping 13 of them.
"The team continues to learn and grown together," said Athletic Director Patrick Comer. "The more they play together, the more things will start to click for them."
Next up for the Wolfpack will be a trip to play a Region 20 opponent in Northern Virginia Community College on 9-12-23 at 3pm.
