Cross Country Starts Strong

Youngwood, PA - The men's and women's cross country teams started off their 2015 season by hosting the 4th annual Wolfpack 5K Invitational. Gina Mattei's 5th place finish at 23:21 was tops for the WCCC women as the women's team finished 3rd overall behind champions UPG and runner-up Mt. Aloysius. From the men's course, Chase Poole finished 15 at 19:12 which was WCCC's top time on the morning trail. Frostburg University took the team honors on the men's side while Robert Romano set a new course record of 15:54.
