MILLER'S TOP 4 FINISH HIGHLIGHTS WOLFPACK INVITATIONAL

YOUNGWOOD, Pa. - Sophomore Dan Miller earned fourth place overall to highlight the day for the Westmoreland County Community College men's cross country team on their home course at the Wolfpack Invitational Saturday.

Miller broke the finish line with a time of 17:47.8 to be the first Wolfpack runner to cross, edging out a pair of Penn State-Fayette runners by 7 and 12 second respectively. Also running in the meet for Westmoreland was sophomore Scott Meck, who took 21st place (20:30.7), and freshman Michael Hays, who was 39th.

With only three runners, the Wolfpack only competed as individuals and did not qualify for team awards. Taking first place as a team was Penn State-Fayette with 22 points, while Christendom College, who had the individual winner in Joe Ellefson (17:17.5), placed second.

Westmoreland will be back on the course next Saturday when they compete at the Saint Vincent Invitational down the road in Latrobe, Pa.
