Westmoreland Men win Wolfpack Invite
The 12th Annual Wolfpack Invitational marks the start of the 2021 Westmoreland County Community College cross country season for. Eight teams from all different levels were in attendnce for the meet this year. The men's team started the season off with a bang, winning the Wolfpack Inviattional for the first time ever. The Wolfpack placed 4 runners in the top 10, with Freshman Dante Frescura (Greater Latrobe) leading the pack, winning the men's race with a time of 17:27. Also placing in the top ten were Freshman Micah Conroy (Greater Latrobe) in 7th place, Jared Bowman (Penns Manor) in 8th, and Peyton Hause (Howland, OH) in 10th place. Sophmore Nathan Miller (Penns Manor) brought the win home with his 20th place finish. The Wolfpack edged out Penn State Fayette for the team title 41-57.

On the ladies side sophomore Anna Rubino picked right up where she left off last season, placing fifth overall with a time of 23:34. Molleigh Henderson placed 11th, while Hannah Klingensmith, who was a part of the 2017 wolfpack XC team returned for here sophmore season and finished 12th overall. Penn State Fayette wa the only full women's team in the field and they finished with the top three indiviaudal spots on their way to a perfect score of 15 points.
The wolfpack will next compete at the Garrett Invitational on Saturday September 18th at 10am.
