Men's XC places 2nd at Penn State Fayette
Saturday the Westmoreland County Comminity College Men's Cross Country team took part in the Penn State Fayette Cross Country Invitational.
Sophmore Dante Frescura once again was the leader of the pack placing 9th overall with a time of 30:37 on the very hilly course. Frescura was followed closely by freshman Joe Barrick in 12th place in a time of 31:12. In 15th place was Frank Benko in 31:41. Rounding out the top 5 for the Wolfpack was Sophomores Micah Conroy and Jared Bowman in 32:54 and 32:59. Rounding out the Wolfpack runners were Peyton Hause 33:54, Robbie Halinka 34:02, Andy Petrazzi 35:52, Deklyn Simms 40:07, and Jon Kiggins 44:54.
The Wolfpack finished in second place out of eight teams to NCAA Division II's Fairmont State.
The Wolfpack will be right back at it next week a both teams will be traveling to Mt Aloysuis for their invitational.
