Softball Season Ends at Regionals

Arnold, MD - After an opening round win over Montgomery College in the Region XX Softball Championships, the Wolfpack were forced to wait until Tuesday to finish up the tournament.  Well, Montgomery had to beat Westmoreland twice to win the regional championship and they did just that by knocking off the top seeded Wolfpack in two straight games 13-2 and 8-3. The losses end their season at 19-7.  Brianna Crawford smashed two home runs on the afternoon while Alexa DeFrank made several great defensive catches in the outfield, she also led the Wolfpack with three hits.  Wendi Walsh slapped out two hits as Crawford, DeFrank and Shelby Kimmick were all named to the All-Tournament team for their stellar play during the championships.
