Mt Aloysius Takes Two From the Wolfpack

Westmoreland County Community College allowed a 12 run second inning, and couldn't recover in a 15-2 loss in game one to Mt. Aloysius Mounties on Tuesday.  Mt. Aloysius Mounties took the lead on an error in the first inning and didn't look back.

The Wolfpack broke through in the 4th inning with two hits and their two runs with a single by Chloe Trice and a triple by Makayla Boda.

Boda ended up taking the loss for Westmoreland. The pitcher surrendered 15 runs on 11 hits over five innings, striking out one.

Trice, Boda, and Ruby Rojas each collected one hit to lead Westmoreland.

 

in game two, and eleven run first inning propelled the Mounties to a 17-1 win.  

Sydney Matijevic took the loss for Westmoreland. Matijevic went one-third of an inning, allowing 11 runs on two hits.  She was then Followed by Boda who pitched the final 4.2 innings allowing 6 earned runs and striking out one.

Adelaide Flanders and Chloe Trice each collected one hit for the Wolfpack. Trice had the RBI single that scored Boda in the bottom of the fourth inning.

Next up for the Wolfpack will be a home game on 4-19-23 against Penn Highlands at home starting at 3pm.
