Wolfpack host Butler

Westmoreland County Community College Wolfpack played host to Butler County Community College for a doubleheader Friday afternoon.  Game one saw one of Westmoreland's best games of the season loosing 8-1.

Makayla Boda was on the mound for game one, allowing nine hits and three earned runs over seven innings, striking out one.

Westmoreland totaled five hits in the game.  Paige Klinger and Aimee Eutsey both managed two hits a piece.  Ruby Rojas collected the other hit for the Wolfpack.  Rojas stole her team leading ninth base, and scored on the hit by Eutsey.

 

Westmoreland fell behind early in game two, and couldn't come back in a 16-1 loss. 

The Westmoreland CCC Wolfpack struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Butler County Community College, giving up 16 runs.

Sydney Matijevic started the game for Westmoreland and took the loss.  Makayla Boda took over in relief. The hurler surrendered one earned run on five hits over five innings, striking out one.

Aimee Eutsey continued to swing a hot bat collecting another hit in this game.  Abigail Kratochvil collected her second RBI of the season a single to right, scoring Chloe Trice.

The Wolfpack will next travel to play Penn State Fayette in a doubleheader on Tuesday at 3pm.  They will also be making up a game with CCAC on Wednesday at home starting at 2pm.
