Softball honored their sophomore softball players Ruby Rojas, Chloe Trice, Abigail Kratochvil, and Sydney Matijevic on Monday in their final game at home this season.  The Wolfpack held Frederick to just 3 runs over the first 6 innings of game one, before Frederick turned it on, and scored 11 runs in the 7th inning to win game one 14-0.

Sophomore Ruby Rojas had a triple, and a stolen base in the game, while Kaidence Thomas had a single, and so did freshman Brooklyn Furman.

Thomas got the start on the mound for the Wolfpack going 6.2 innings giving up only 4 earned runs in the game and striking out 2 Cougars.  Sydney Matijevic came in and got the final out allowing 0 earned runs and 1 hit.

Game two saw the Cougars get the bats going early scoring 5 runs in the first, 1 run in the second, and 5 more runs in the third, on their way to a 13-0 win.

The offense was led by freshman Alexis Jellison who had 2 singles in the game as well as a stolen base.  Skylar Schaefer and Furman each added in a hit as well.

Jellison got the start on the mound, going 3 innings allowing 8 hits and striking out 1 batter.  Matijevic then came in relief again and went 2 innings allowing 1 earned run on 1 hit.

These games concluded the regional portion of the Wolfpack's schedule as they have two games left with Butler Community College coming up this Saturday, at Butler with a noon first pitch.
