Cold Night for Women's Basketball

Youngwood, PA - It was cold outside as was the shooting for the women's basketball team as they shot a dismal 21% on the evening and dropped a 70-54 setback  to Penn State Dubois.  WCCC just couldn't seem to get any consistent scoring at all in the second quarter which saw them down 12 points at the half. However, the Pack stormed back to cut the lead to six with under 7 minutes remaining but ran out of steam in closing minutes.  Leaders on the night in the scoring column were Hannah Porter with 17 points, Chelsea Szakal 13 points, Kara Foster12 points and Brooke Kalp added 10 points. The Ladies (7-7) open up conference play Saturday and travel to CCAC Allegheny for a noon tip-off.
