Women' Basketball Splits at Jamestown Tournament

Jamestown, NY - The women's basketball team traveled to New York and faced off against NJCAA Division II Region III powerhouse and host Jamestown Community College in their annual tournament as the Jayhawks used a balanced scoring attack and strong inside game to down the Wolfpack 77-63. Westmoreland bounced back in the consolation game by defeating University of Pittsburgh at Titusville 85-57. The weekend split sets Westmoreland at (8-3). Mikala Misleany was named to the Jayhawk All-Tournament team for her stellar play over the weekend. In the Wolfpack's 85-57 win over UPT Mikala pulled down 25 rebounds and added 26 points which are season high's for Mikala.
