Westmoreland Women's Basketball Lost to Potomac State

On Saturday November 19 the Westmoreland women's basketball team traveled to Potomac State to take on the catamounts. Westmoreland fell behind early and trailed 27-14 at the end of the first quarter and 46-28 at the end of the first half. Westmoreland came storming back in the third quarter to cut Potomac's lead to only 5 points. Two player then fouled out for Westmoreland and they had to play the fourth quarter with only 4 players. The final score ended up Potomac State 82 and Westmoreland 52. Mercedes Majors had 20 points and 8 rebounds and Makayla Boda had 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the wolfpack. Up next for Westmoreland will be a home game against Lorain County Community College on Monday Novemeber 28 with a 6pm game start time.
