Women bowling team finishes 4th at Nationals

The 2015 NJCAA National Bowling Championships held last weekend in Buffalo, New York will be memories of a lifetime for the WCCC Women's Bowling team as they finished 4th overall. Helping the women's team to their 4th place finish was the outstanding performance of Jen Zyvith who finished 2nd in singles while teaming up with Alysia Dube to finish 5th in doubles. Another bright spot for the women's team was the duo of Amanda Wawrzyniak and Natalie Herman who placed 2nd in the double events. Zyvith and Wawrzyniak were named to the 2015 NJCAA All-American team for their performances at Nationals. The 4th place finish is the highest national finish for either of the WCCC bowling teams.

From the men's lanes, they never really seemed to adjust to the lane conditions as they finished 13th overall. Nick Vukovich had a strong showing as he finished 39th in All-events and 17th in singles. Jacob Fitch ended up 20th in the singles event and 54th overall in the All-events category. WCCC will look to build off their successes this season with the hopes of another strong showing at next year's national events.
