Wolfpack Women Reign Supreme Through Week 3

YOUNGWOOD, Pa – The Westmoreland County Community College Bowling teams came out throwing strikes for the third week in a row.

On the men's side, sophomore Austin Douglas began his day with a 122 game. However, the slow start did not stop Douglas from having a great day. In his second game he threw for a season-high game of 170, shattering his previous high of 156. Douglas did not stop there though. He continued to power over the pins in his third game and break his high game yet again with an impressive 175.

Douglas finished the day with a career series of 467 giving him yet again the fifth spot for the week and sixth place overall. CCAC's Joseph Mackowiak still holds the one seed overall but was toppled by his teammate Justin Schmitt.

Flying solo for the women this week was Ashleigh Walker. Similar to how her teammate Austin started the day, she began her day with a slow start, throwing a 167 game. This was only one game though because Walker came back with a solid game two and three. She threw for a 226 and a 225 in those games. Finishing the day with a 618, she still remains the leader on the women's side. Ashleigh has accumulated 6 total conference points thus far this year, putting her 3 points above Ana Swindle of CCAC.

The Wolfpack is back in action this Friday February 26th at Main Bowling for their fourth match of the season.
