Wolfpack Women Season Rolls On

YOUNGWOOD, Pa – Rolling into week 5 the Wolfpack came to compete but that doesn't mean the other teams didn't either.

For the women, first year Ashleigh Walker and sophomore Jacquie Thompson came and did what they do best. Thompson started with a high score of 117 in her first game and finished the last two games with a 108 and a 98, respectively. Her day was complete with a 323 series, good enough to claim the six spot in this week's rankings.

As for Ashleigh Walker, she started her Friday off with a 156 game but found her line and came back with a 204 in her second game. Walker slowly fell off for game three, as she posted a 159 game. Walker finished with a 519 series which gave her a third place finish in week 5. CCAC's Kali Adams and Anna Swindle took this week's first and second places along with a total of 3 conference points with a 585 series and a 530 series. Walker still holds her crown at the top of the women's side with 8 conference points, doubling Swindle who has 4.

On the men's side of things, Austin Douglas just keeps showing what he can do. Not only did he break his high game this week, but he also scored himself a new high series. Douglas started strong with a 152 game, then broke his high score for the fourth time this season. Scratching by his previous high game of 182 by 1 pin landed him with an outstanding 183 career game. Douglas ended his day with 139 and also broke his high series for the season, giving him 474. Austin found himself in the 5 hole on the leaderboard this week with CCAC's Joseph Mackowiak still leading the charge.

The Wolfpack is back this Friday March 12th at Main Bowling for their next match of the season.
