Wolfpack Women Hanging On

YOUNGWOOD, Pa – The Wolfpack enter week 6 trying to gain an edge on the competition.

On the women's lanes, first year Ashleigh Walker and sophomore Jaquie Thompson keep up their solid performances for the week. Thompson started the day strong with a 195 game but struggled in her second game only scoring a 167. She came back and rolled out a 182 to finish the day with a 544 series giving the 3 spot this week behind CCAC's Anna Swindle and Kali Adams. Jaquie had a solid week with her first game being a 103. She shot up to a  115 in the second game and 116 in her third game. Thompson ended her day with 334 series giving her sixth place for the week. Ashleigh still remains on the top of the women's leaderboard with 8 points, but Anna Swindle and Kali Adams are right behind her with 6 points and 4 points respectfully.

For the men, sophomore Austin Douglas bowled as good as ever. He started his day with a 157 game and really turned on the burners for his second game where he shot a 171. In his third game, he leveled off with a 152 game. Douglas finished his day with his season high series of  480 awarding him the 5 seed for the week. Leading the men's side this week was CCAC's Jacob Horton who shot a 608 series giving him 2 points. Joseph Mackowiak still leads the men in conference points heading into week 7.

The Wolfpack host the Westmoreland Invitational this Friday March 19th at Main Bowling. CCAC and Penn Highlands will both be in attendance.
