Westmoreland County Community College is excited to welcome our new women's soccer coach to the athletic department.  Coach Tom Dongilli will be heading up the women's soccer program here at Westmoreland.  "We are beyond excited to welcome Coach Dongilli to our staff," said Athletic Director Patrick Comer.  "He bring a lot of experience and knowledge of the game and can help get our soccer program competitive at the Division II level."

From Coach Dongilli.

Greetings Wolfpack family. My name is Tom Dongilli. I am the new women's head coach here at Westmoreland.  I have been coaching soccer for over 24 years. I am the father of 3 great children. I have worked for the past 25 years in the School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC.  My clinical work focuses on patient safety and education.

I currently hold a national coaching license and a variety of certifications related to soccer education and training. Over the past 24 years I have been fortunate to work with a variety of programs including start up, to advance levels. I finished my last season of soccer (2022 WPIAL), where I led my program to an 11-5 record and playoff appearance. Prior this position, I held head coaching positions at Aquinas Academy High School, Baldwin High School, and Our Lady of Sacred Heart High School. I have coached a number of indoor and community programs as well.

Community involvement and presence is important to me. Our program should pave the way for future players. I look forward to bringing programs to our community and working with the great coaches in our region as well.

I am eager to share with you my philosophy, enthusiasm, and energy that I am bringing to the WCCC women's soccer program. I forever keep in mind, that we are obligated to mentor our student athletes and give them every opportunity to succeed on and off the field.

I look forward to bringing our program to the forefront of women's soccer in the NJCAA.
