Women's Cross Country Finish 3rd at PS Greater Allegheny Invitational

McKeesport, PA - The 6th ranked Westmoreland women's cross country team had a strong showing at the Penn State Greater Allegheny Invitational as they finished 3rd on a very difficult course. Gina Mattei continues to lead the Pack as she finished 8th overall with a time of 25:13. Other Wolfpack runners with solid times were Marissa Luden 13th 26:24, Alexa DeFrank 15th 27:23, Kaylin Heatley 17th 27:31. Other solid outings went to Shelby Kimmick 20th 28:52, Jessica Ruggiero 31st 32:54, Alysia Dube 32nd 39:35, and Kaylee Busch 35th 43:16. Up next for the Wolfpack will be a trip to Frostburg on Oct. 1.
