Westmoreland Rolls in home Win Against CCAC

The Westmoreland women's basketball team rolled past CCAC at home on Wednesday night beating them 72- 46. The lady wolfpack started off hot jumping out to a 14-0 lead. CCAC then caught fire hitting several 3 pointers to close the gap and only trailed by 1 at halftime. Westmoreland started the third quarter the same way they started the game and jumped the lead back up quickly. The lady wolfpack scored a season high 28 points in the third quarter and the game was never close again. Makayla Boda and Mercedes Majors led the lady wolfpack by both recording a double double. Boda had 27 points and 11 rebounds and Majors had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Next up for Westmoreland will be a home game on Saturday December 17 at 1pm against Central Carolina Community College.
